Front Desk/Service Writer

Parks Engine Service, Inc. is a full-service machine shop in Seguin, TX. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Front Desk/Service Writer. We offer competitive pay and benefits. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interpreting customer concerns and comments.

  • Greeting customers.

  • Liaison with the customer about any additional work required.

  • Estimating time and costs associated with repairs.

  • Handling customer complaints.

  • Responding to customer requests and needs.

  • Working with machinists and tracking workflow.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Listen to requests for desired service(s) and explain the repair or service order.

  • Generate profit by selling service repairs.

  • Estimate cost and time needed to perform repairs.

  • Handle customer complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction standards.

  • Promote service facilities to encourage repeat business.

  • Periodically check the progress of customer's engine parts and contact customers when machinists discover additional problems; get customer approval to perform additional work and explain the work performed and the corresponding charges.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong computer literacy and good working knowledge of most common Windows based programs.

  • Thorough understanding of the Automotive After Sales market/industry.

  • Strong customer service focus and ability to resolve customer inquiries/issues.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
